Selected Client: Options’ OPTions Learning Platform
The OPTions Initiative is run by Grand Challenges Canada to support innovative and transformative approaches that put women, girls and people with diverse sexual and gender identities in control of where, when, and how they terminate their pregnancy, in countries where there are one or more legal grounds to support it. The initiative seeks and funds groundbreaking ideas to improve access to safe abortion, providing advisory and technical support to innovators to develop effective, quality, and scalable solutions. The OLP accelerates progress from proof of concept to sustainable impact at scale. Options Consultancy Services is the implementer of the OPTions Learning Platform, and hired Propelevate to provide technical assistance to the innovators as they develop next generation methods or transition to scale.
Propelevate conducted a needs assessment and then developed six courses related to business development, moving discoveries in the lab into the market, marketing communications and scale & sustainability. Propelevate recorded the courses and held virtual group discussions with innovators as well as providing one-on-one support for innovators including supporting on value proposition canvases, pricing models, identifying scale pathways and pitch development.
